8th Annual Photo Show Winners Announced!
What is your favourite image of Campbell River’s ocean and river shorelines? For the 11 photographers who entered the Campbell River Arts Councils’ 8th Annual Photo Show, it was a collection of wonderful movement, colours and wildlife! Our shorelines are one of our most important community features and this photo show delivers some wonderful images!
Twenty photographs were chosen and will be displayed at the Sybil Andrews Cottage till June 18th. The Award for Excellence has been awarded to Nancy Colberg for “Gulls Along Seawalk.” D. Ross Fisher received an Honourable Mention for “Shoreline Scene in Snowfall.” An Honourable Mention also goes to Brian Kyle for “Goodbye Cruel World.” Visitors to the show are encouraged to make their pick for People’s Choice Award which will be awarded on June 18th.
Prizes were kindly donated by Photo Tech foto source for the Award of Excellence and by PJ’s Arts & Custom Framing for the People’s Choice Award.
